Dallas Dual Fuel Heating and Air Conditioner

Air Conditioning Dallas

Air Conditioning Dallas

Dallas residents know who to trust to repair their energy efficient dual fuel heating and cooling equipment. These devices are specially designed for cooler climates, where a regular heat pump becomes inefficient at 35 degrees and below. When the temperature drops below that level, the gas powered heating element kicks in to provide a more efficient heating method. This means you get the best of both worlds. During the hot to mild seasons you can take advantage of the heat pump’s highly efficient method of heating and cooling. And, during the winter your heat pump uses gas because the heat transfer of a heat pump doesn’t work as efficiently at low temperatures.

Federal Energy Savings Tax Credits for Duel Fuel Systems

There are tax credits available to offset the cost of upgrading to a more energy efficient heating and air conditioning system. The tax credits can be as high as $1.500. But that’s not all. From time to time the local gas and power companies offer rebates as high as $400 to help the homeowner upgrade and conserve energy.

The rule of thumb is to upgrade to an Energy Star rated air conditioner, furnace or heat pump. Call our office and we will show you the difference between a builder’s grade heating and cooling system and an energy efficient dual fuel system. The difference in the equipment costs are not that much with tax credits and rebates. the utility bill savings will be there month after month for the next  decade or more.
